MSB Staff Raises Money for American Cancer Society

Mayville State Bank employees came out in force to support the American Cancer Society during the Tuscola County Relay for Life. Relay for Life is a fun way to raise money for cancer research and patient care along with raising awareness and educating the public.

The MSB employees used their FUNdraising skills by taking donations, hosting several bake sales, employee cook-offs and selling candy bars. Over the past seven years, the MSB employees have raised over $11,000 for Relay for Life. This feat would not have been possible without our amazing customers! THANK YOU!!

The Mayville Sunflower Festival

The Sunflower Festival’s theme this year was ‘Construction’. Many employees and their families had a great time walking the parade and handing out candy to enthusiastic spectators. We were very pleased to see so many smiling faces and to win Best in Parade for our colorful float.  It was a beautiful evening for a summer parade and our staff enjoyed greeting customers and handing out candy. Thank you to all for coming out and enjoying one of our local festivals!

Millington Parades and Contests

The 2019 Millington Summer Festival’s theme was ‘Lumberjack of all Trades’.  We had a great time cooling off the spectators with a splash from our float’s river. In October, MSB created a replica of The Shining’s Twins for Millington’s Scarecrow Contest and won 3rd Place for the spooky duo.  We also celebrated Christmas in the Village by riding in the parade and winning 3rd Place in the business decorating contest.  We truly enjoy being a part of the community and participating in local events!
