MSB Staff Walks, Raises Money for American Cancer Society

Mayville State Bank employees came out in force to support the American Cancer Society during the Tuscola County Relay for Life. Relay for Life is a fun way to raise money for cancer research and patient care along with raising awareness and educating the public.

The MSB employees used their FUNdraising skills by taking donations, hosting several bake sales, popcorn sales and selling candy bars. Over the past three years, the MSB employees have raised over $9,000 for Relay for Life. This feat would not have been possible without our amazing customers! THANK YOU!!

The Mayville Sunflower Festival

The Sunflower Festival’s theme this year was ‘Can You Dig It’ due to the recent Mastodon find near the Fowler Center in Mayville.  Not only does our bank donate to the festival and our employees volunteer but we witnessed a great effort putting together this year’s ‘Flintstones’ float which won “Best in Theme.” Our staff spent a hot day in the sun walking in the parade to greet customers and hand out candy. Thank you to all for coming out and enjoying one of our local festivals!

An Old Fashioned Parade in Millington

The 2017 Millington Old Fashioned Summer Festival’s theme was ‘America the Beautiful’.   After walking the parade and handing out suckers, our employees remarked on how many families were out to enjoy the festivities. We were very pleased to see so many smiling faces and to win first place on our float which was decorated with the theme of ‘Financing the American Dream’. Thank you Millington for such a great time!
