MSB Staff Walks, Raises Money for American Cancer Society

Mayville State Bank employees came out in force to support the American Cancer Society during the Tuscola County Relay for Life. Relay for Life is a fun way to raise money for cancer research and patient care along with raising awareness and educating the public.

The MSB employees used their FUNdraising skills by taking donations, hosting several bake sales, popcorn sales, selling candy bars and hosting a shredding event. Over the past three years, the MSB employees have raised over $6,000 for Relay for Life. This feat would not have been possible without our amazing customers! THANK YOU!!

We wish him and all the 4-H kids we met the best of luck in the future.

An Old Fashioned Parade in Millington

The 2105 Millington Old Fashioned Summer Festival was held in the “Wild West” complete with cowboys and tumble weeds. After walking the parade and handing out suckers, our employees remarked on how many families were out to enjoy the festivities. We were very pleased to see so many smiling faces and to win second place on our float. Thank you Millington for such a great time!

25 Years of Sunflowers & 130 Years of MSB

During our 130th year, we celebrated with the Mayville Sunflower Festival on their milestone of 25 years. Not only does our bank donate to the festival and our employees volunteer but we witnessed a great effort putting together this year’s float which won “Best in Parade.” Our staff spent a hot day in the sun walking in the parade to greet customers and hand out candy. Thank you to all for coming out and enjoying one of our local festivals!

Shred Cancer for Relay for Life

Mayville State Bank worked with Xtreme Shreds to help protect your privacy and raise money for Relay for Life! On a breezy Saturday in April we received donations for Relay for Life and the helpful staff from Xtreme Shreds used their truck to bulk shred the documents brought in by our customers. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and a big thank you to Xtreme Shreds for donating their time.
